1) Any post determined to be a negative and/or unconstructive attack on another member will be removed at the staffs’ discretion. On your first offense, you will receive an unofficial warning, second offense you will recieve an official warning, and your third offense will result in you being banned.
Examples of what not to do:
"You are an idiot."
"That is an idiotic opinion."
"Don't be stupid."
Etc...
Basically, anything that is a direct or indirect insult at another user.
2) If you feel that you have been attacked, PM, IM, or email a staff member or approach the member and maturely work things out. Do not respond in kind or you will be subject to the same rules. Two (or more) wrongs do not make a right.

The staff works very hard to keep this community running.
1) If you have a complaint about a staff member, or a question about an action that was taken on the board, address this with a staff member via PM, IM, or email. Any issue with the staff not dealt with in this manner will result in removal of the offending member's account.
2) Any decision that is made by the staff is gone over in detail by the Administrators/moderators collectively in private. Any attempt to circumvent the what you are told by one staff member by contacting other staff members, or anyone else afiliated with the Sobieski Skis website in an effort to overturn the decision will result in removal of your account. If you feel the decision was unjust, you are within your rights to (maturely) ask for further clarification.

1) This forum is not safe for kids, however there is a certain level of conduct that we expect from our membership.
a) Do not use profanity in thread titles or signature lines.
b) Do not use profanity excessively within posts.
c) Topics deemed vulgar will not be allowed.
d) Racial/homophobic/threatening remarks will not be allowed.
e) Political discussion will not be allowed.
Posts or threads determined to be pointless, crude, tasteless, indecent, vulgar, etc... will be removed without notification. Depending on the determined severity of the offense, and the poster in question the staff may edit the offending language, remove the post or thread, and/or remove your account.
2) Stay on topic. Note forum descriptions (Clubhouse/Victory League) BEFORE you post. And don't post the same thing in multiple forums. If you are unsure, email or PM a mod/admin before posting. We will get back to you relatively quickly, usually. Repeat offenders will have their accounts removed.
3) Don't discuss, encourage, or engage in any illegal activity on the Forum. (from "How to burn/acquire a bootleg DVD", to "How would you kill somebody?".) Do not post copyrighted material without crediting the owner (post a link if possible).
4) We have zero tolerance for spam. Post spam and your account will be removed.
5) Multiple accounts are NOT allowed. Pick an account name and stick with it. If we find you are using multiple accounts, we will shut them all down.
6) Don't link to a commercial site that you have a stake in (own it, affiliate links, etc...), either in a post or in your signature without receiving consent from the staff. We do not make money from the forum, neither
should you.
7) No bombing or padding. (Posting lots of threads/posts with the exact same content, or meaningless content.) Padding is adding "me too" threads (or something equally as meaningless) to just about every thread on the forum. We do not care about your post count, neither should you.
8) Make your thread titles descriptive of what is in the thread. (Do not a start a thread called "Question." Instead use "Question about baseball" or "What is the Victory League?")
9) When quoting, just quote the stuff that you are replying to. Do not quote the whole thing, and just add a one-line response, like "I agree."
10) We reserve the right to edit, delete, or move any post on the forum without notification. We take no
responsibility for anything posted on the forum. We reserve the right to suspend/ban any user at any time for any reason. All posts to the forum should be considered the OPINION of the author, and not necessarily that of the Sobieski Skis, nor the Forum Administrators/Moderators.
