Here is an open invitation to anyone in the Upsala area to bring the kids and kidettes to a baseball clinic sponsored by the Minnesota Twins. It is going to be held in Upsala on Sat. Aug. 5th. It will be held at the Upsala high school baseball field and in case of inclement weather will be in the high school gymnasium. The clinic is free for all kids age 6-16 and there is no pre-registration. There are two sessions. The first one is for kids age 6-9 and goes from 9-10:30, and the second one is for kids age 10-16 and goes from 10:30-12. Once again there is no pre-registration, you just need to show up that morning at the appropriate time.

From what I understand....No. It is a free clinic that the Twins send to various towns throughout the state. It just involves some people that they have on staff for the summer doing this type of thing.

Word is that there is going to be another Twins clinic for kids in Upsala on July 21 this year. Right now it doesn't appear that there would be a conflict with a Blue Jays home play-off game, but yoiu never know.
