Both teams can score in any given round so there are no cancellations. All points are scored for each team every round. Keeps the games shorter. When you've got 70 teams, getting through the brackets takes awhile, so we try to keep it moving along. We found that games last year typically took 10-15 minutes each and there are something like 10 games going on at one time.

are you still accepting teams? Do you accept teams right up to the start time, or would a team HAVE TO pre-register?

no rules for the tournament or what?? So now that you've finally seen the rules, will you finally be making a decision if you are going to play or not. Good God, they were going to give the rules to everybody and besides its a Bean Bag Tourney. Screw the rules, you either show up and have a good time and support them or you stay home "cuz you didn't know the rules". Who cares if its a cancel or non-cancel tourney? Are you that high level of a bean bag player that that would make a difference to you. "I'm not playing because its not a cancelling tourney. The good players only play in a cancelling tourney". I'll tell you what, somebody associated with this tourney pm me with an address and I'll send you a damn check for $25 as a donation for a good cause. Even if you don't tell me the rules.

This is a great time. Excellent atmosphere with plenty of entertainment afterwards. The SOB has Coyote Ugly night which is always an excellent time. Plus the Legion Club is directly across the street from Veterans Memorial Field. The Main Street Pub and Triple R Grill and Bar are other local watering holes that will quench any thirst. You can register the day of if you decide to make the trip at the last minute.

If you decide to come last minute, I would be there no later than 10:30 that morning. It sounds like the number of teams is starting to accumulate. Meatman might have some unofficial numbers for us.

Bean Bag tournament has been postponed to Saturday, April 19th at 11:00 am with registration starting at 10:30. Something to do with the weather I guess.

Thanks to anyone who contributed to make the event a huge success again. Despite the reschedule and the weather, 62 teams showed up to toss bags for the day. A couple of out of towners (Avon & Rockville) took home the big money.
